WHAT YOU SHOULD DO IF YOU WISH TO RECEIVE “D” FAMILY TREE INFORMATION:
Click here to open a blank pre-addressed email form to me.
State your own full name (s) and explain your connection to the “D” family.
Tell me about your own “D” family relatives, children and siblings, detailing full names, dates and places of birth and death, wherever possible.
Do NOT include any current contact details, email addresses or any sensitive or confidential information.
Please agree, in writing, that the information you tender may be shared with other genuine “D” family members in the future.
Please also agree, in your own time, to check any information that I forward to you and to advise me if you find any discrepancies or omissions.
WHAT I DO WHEN I RECEIVE YOUR ENQUIRY :
Interrogate a huge “D” family database to identify your earliest ancestor.
Create a genealogical report, in RTF format, which lists all the descendants of your earliest ancestor.
The list could include over 20 generations, if you happen to be on the direct line. It will display in virtually all word-processing systems.
Forward the list to you as an email attachment to my response.
WHAT I DO IF YOU SEND ME NEW “D” FAMILY INFORMATION:
Update the “D” family database.
Communicate with you to sort out any queries.
Request your permission to publish any special interest items on the News Page.
IMPORTANT PRIVACY AND NON-DISCLOSURE ISSUES :
Photographs of living family members are excluded, wherever possible, from the [Delderfield Photos] page to protect privacy.
Current contact information and postal addresses are never published.
Information relating to still-living individuals is excluded from reports, wherever practicable.
These self-imposed limitations have become essential in recent years, to protect individuals.
